Nestled in the heart of Glasgow, our charming eatery promises an unrivalled   dining experience that you won’t forget in a hurry. The menu boasts a delicious selection of Buttery favourites at an   accessible price point.

In this blog post, we invite you to embark on a culinary journey and discover six reasons why lunch with us should be   at   the top of your foodie to-do list.

A Tale of Tradition:

Buttery is where tradition takes centre stage in a bygone era. Housed in a historic building with centuries-old   interiors, the restaurant exudes an old-world charm that immediately makes you feel at home. Inspired by classic   Scottish tradition, we boast a menu that celebrates local produce and timeless recipes, ensuring an authentic dining   experience that pays homage to our city’s culinary heritage.

A Symphony of Seafood:

In our wee country, us Scots are so lucky to have some of the best ingredients in such close proximity. The freshest   catches of the day are sourced from nearby coasts and our trusted supplier, The Fish People, the restaurant is able to   showcase some of the finest Scottish seafood.

From smoky Cullen skink, seared scallops and Gigha halibut, we are proud to be able to use some of the freshest   produce   Scotland has to offer.

Culinary Creativity:

While rooted in tradition, Two Fat Ladies is no stranger to innovation. The restaurant’s talented chefs aim to blend   classic Scottish flavours with contemporary techniques, resulting in dishes that look to both surprise and delight.   Whether you’re a seafood lover or prefer poultry, beef or vegetarian options, the lunch menu caters to all palates,   ensuring every guest finds something to enjoy.

Warmth and Welcoming Ambience:

Beyond Two Fats’ cuisine, what truly sets The Buttery apart is its warm and welcoming ambience. The staff’s friendly   demeanour and genuine passion for hospitality create an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel like a cherished guest   rather than a customer. Whether you’re a solo traveller, a couple seeking a romantic lunch, or a group of friends   looking for a memorable meal, the restaurant’s ambience embraces everyone from the minute they walk in and makes each   visit something truly special.
